When news broke early this week about the arrest of Nigeria's former Minister of Petroleum Resources in London, majority of Nigerians were not surprised. It was a matter of when and not if she will be arrested, SaharaReporters have an opinion piece on the whole story. Here's hoping to more arrests and revelations, revenue from oil must be used for development and not used to bulk up the bank balances of greedy corrupt public officials.

Under Buhari's Presidency, if there is a scandal involving the nations oil revenues, we would know who to blame: Mr President himself as he's just appointed himself Petroleum Minister.
